Troms Offshore shall have a Quality and Safety Management System that is suited to our objectives, and shall commit itself to fulfilling the requirements for customer focus, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement of the quality objectives that are set. Troms Offshore’s operating system shall be certified in accordance with NS-EN ISO 9001:2000 Standard, and shall also build upon the ISM Code. It shall also ensure that mandatory rules and regulations are followed, and that consideration is taken to prevailing norms, guidelines and standards that are recommended by the Administrations, classification societies and the organizations within the maritime industry.

The goals of the Operating, Quality and Safety Management System are to ensure safety at sea, prevent loss of human lives, personal injuries, avoid damage to the environment, particularly the marine environment, and to property.

The Company’s goals for safety management shall include, but are not limited to:
Providing for the best practices in operating the vessels and a safe working environment;
Establishing barriers and protection against all identified risks; and
Continuously improving the skills of personnel onshore and offshore with regard to safety management, including preparing them for emergencies that include both safety and environmental protection.

The System shall ensure:
That mandatory sets of rules and regulations are followed; and
That consideration is taken to prevailing norms, guidelines and standards recommended by the organization, administrations, classification societies and organizations in the maritime industry.
